Wireless companies need sites that are close to consumers, local governments desperately need new, sustainable revenue sources and consumers demand the wireless service. One of the early school partnerships anticipates earning over $1.5 million in income in 2010 and anticipates that revenue doubling in the next three years given the demand for new sites.
Under this model, budget gaps can be filled with thoughtful, well located wireless towers that serve the community. Local governments can make significant dents in buget cuts with additional funding from tower revenue. |
